This Shipping and Delivery Policy sets forth the terms governing order processing schedules, domestic shipping charges, courier transit timelines, and delivery protocols for purchases made on Porasona via https://porasona.store/. This policy is administered by NEXZEN EDUTECH PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN: U85490WB2025PTC282067) and forms an integral part of our Terms of Service and Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Geographic Service Coverage & Delivery Scope

Porasona provides nationwide shipping across India to postal pin codes serviced by our contracted logistics and courier partners. Serviceability for your specific address can be verified in real time during checkout by entering your 6-digit postal pin code. If your delivery destination is indicated as non-serviceable, please email support@porasona.store with your required titles and address details; we regularly arrange dedicated fulfillment via India Post (Speed Post / Registered Parcel) to reach remote and rural destinations not serviced by private couriers.

We do not support retail international consumer shipping at this time. For bulk institutional purchases or overseas academic inquiries, please write to our corporate team at support@porasona.store.

2. Order Processing, Fulfillment & Dispatch Schedules

  • Operational Days: Orders are processed and fulfilled during standard business days, Monday through Saturday (excluding Sundays and Gazetted Public Holidays in West Bengal).
  • In-Stock Dispatch Window: Verified in-stock orders are processed and handed over to our logistics carriers within 1 to 2 business days following successful payment authorization.
  • Order Cut-Off Times: Orders placed after 4:00 PM IST, or during weekends and public holidays, are scheduled for processing on the subsequent business day.
  • Publisher-Sourced Titles: Academic titles requiring direct procurement from publishers or specialized distributors are dispatched within 4 to 7 business days. Customers will be notified via email or phone regarding sourced items, with options to retain the order, substitute the title, or receive an immediate full refund for the affected item.
  • Split Consignments: Multi-item orders involving varied fulfillment locations or delayed publisher sourcing may be dispatched in separate packages at no additional shipping expense to the customer. Each parcel will be assigned its own distinct courier tracking number.
  • Seasonal Demand & Examination Periods: Dispatch timelines may experience moderate variations during national academic admission cycles, new school sessions, board examination peaks, and competitive examination result windows. Estimated delivery dates displayed at checkout will reflect current operational capacities.

3. Domestic Shipping Fee Structure

  • Complimentary Free Shipping: Eligible on all standard domestic retail orders with an aggregate cart value of ₹999 or higher.
  • Standard Domestic Delivery Fee: Orders below ₹999 attract a standard flat shipping fee of ₹99.
  • Heavy & Oversized Consignments: Multi-volume encyclopedic sets, heavy reference collections, bulk stationery bundles, or institutional quantities may incur weight-based freight charges. All applicable shipping charges are calculated and displayed transparently at checkout prior to payment. No additional charges will ever be applied subsequent to checkout.
  • Special Zone & Remote Pin Codes: Deliveries to designated special-category regions, including specific sectors in the North Eastern states, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and island territories, may reflect regional courier surcharges displayed at checkout.

Payment Requirements: Porasona operates exclusively on an advance online payment model utilizing secure digital payment gateways. Cash on Delivery (COD) is not currently offered. If you encounter any third-party claiming to offer unauthorized "Porasona COD services", please report the matter to support@porasona.store.

4. Logistics Network & Real-Time Tracking

Porasona collaborates with India's premier logistics aggregators and carriers, including Delhivery, XpressBees, Ecom Express, Blue Dart, and India Post. Consignment routing is dynamically allocated based on geographic pin code performance, parcel weight, and delivery transit reliability.

Upon consignment handover to the courier, an automated dispatch notification containing the designated carrier name and Air Waybill (AWB) tracking number is transmitted to your registered email and mobile number. Tracking updates typically become active within 24 to 48 hours of carrier scan. You may also monitor your shipment live through your Customer Account or via our dedicated Order Tracking Portal.

5. Estimated Transit Timelines

Delivery estimates are calculated in business days commencing from physical carrier dispatch:

  • Kolkata & Greater West Bengal: 2 to 4 business days
  • Metro Cities (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad): 3 to 6 business days
  • Tier-2 & Tier-3 Regional Cities and Towns: 4 to 8 business days
  • Special Zones & Remote Destinations (North East, J&K, Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep): 7 to 12 business days
  • India Post Consignments: 8 to 15 business days

Logistics Advisory: While our carrier partners maintain high on-time performance rates, all stated transit timelines are operational estimates and do not constitute contractually guaranteed arrival dates. External variables such as adverse weather, monsoon disruptions, transport bandhs, regional movement restrictions, or courier operational backlogs may occasionally influence delivery schedules. Porasona cannot guarantee deliveries prior to fixed examination or interview dates; students and institutions are strongly encouraged to place critical academic orders well in advance.

6. Address Accuracy & Contact Information

Consignments are routed strictly to the destination coordinates provided by the customer during checkout. Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information, including recipient full name, flat/house number, building name, street, locality, recognized landmarks, city, state, and accurate 6-digit postal pin code, alongside a functional mobile contact number.

To request an address correction prior to dispatch, immediately email support@porasona.store citing your Order Reference Number. Once a package has been handed over to the carrier, mid-transit address redirects are subject to carrier feasibility and cannot be guaranteed. Non-delivery resulting from incomplete or erroneous customer-supplied addresses will be processed in accordance with Clause 1.2 of our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Delivery Acceptance & Unboxing Verification

  • Authorized Recipient: Delivery is deemed complete when accepted by any adult recipient present at the designated delivery address (including household members, campus hostel wardens, building receptionists, or security personnel).
  • Mandatory Unboxing Video: Customers are required to record a complete, unedited unboxing video prior to opening any package from Porasona. This documentation is essential to substantiate claims for transit damage, incorrect titles, or missing items under our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Damaged or Tampered Consignments: If a delivery parcel exhibits severe visible tearing, crushing, moisture, or unauthorized re-taping upon arrival, you may either refuse acceptance and notify us immediately, or accept only after recording the external condition on video prior to opening.
  • Shortage Claims: Please verify parcel contents against the enclosed commercial tax invoice upon delivery and submit any shortage notifications within the mandatory 48-hour claim window.

8. Non-Delivery, Failed Attempts & Return to Origin (RTO)

Couriers typically make up to 3 consecutive delivery attempts. If a consignment cannot be successfully delivered due to customer unavailability, incorrect address details, an unreachable phone number, or unwarranted delivery refusal, the parcel is automatically returned to our fulfillment center as Return to Origin (RTO).

Upon physical receipt of an RTO consignment, our customer support team will contact you. You may elect to have the parcel re-dispatched upon payment of a re-shipping fee, or receive a refund of the order value minus the actual outward and return shipping costs incurred. In instances where delivery failure was caused by carrier error or operational failure on our part, re-dispatch will be executed promptly at zero cost.

9. Protective Packaging Standards

We implement rigorous multi-layer packaging protocols to protect books and academic materials against transit wear throughout the domestic postal network:

  • Individual books are enclosed in rigid, impact-resistant or heavy-duty bubble-lined mailers.
  • Multi-volume book sets and reference manuals are packed in heavy-duty corrugated cartons with shock-absorbing void fillers and corner reinforcement to prevent edge bruising.
  • All consignments feature a robust, tamper-evident waterproof outer wrapping to guard against moisture and inclement weather.
  • Stationery and accessory items are packed in separate protective wraps to prevent pressure damage to adjacent book covers.

10. In-Transit Inquiries & Lost Consignments

If your shipment reflects no tracking movement for 5 consecutive business days, or if your estimated delivery window has lapsed, please contact our support team at support@porasona.store. Our team will initiate a formal investigation with carrier management. If a parcel is officially declared lost in transit, you will be entitled to a 100% full refund including all shipping fees, or an immediate complimentary re-dispatch.

11. Bulk & Institutional Freight Shipments

Procurement consignments for schools, coaching institutes, colleges, and libraries are managed under customized logistics arrangements. Institutional shipments may be transported via commercial surface cargo or dedicated freight carriers with specialized loading-dock delivery terms.
